The most important things at a glance: What is the Guest Mobility Ticket?
A single ticket for all public transport throughout the province of Salzburg – valid from check-in until closing time on the day of departure.
Are you making it easy for yourself?
For all public transport in the Salzburg region - including the city transport of Salzburg
(Please note that for journeys outside of the federal state of Salzburg additional tickets are required.):
• City traffic
• Regional buses
• S-Bahn
• Regional trains
• Long-distance trains
• Salzburg Transport Shuttles (micro public transport)
Cost:
• €0,50 per person per night (from 1 May 2027: €1,10 per person per night)
• Is levied as a mobility tax in addition to the overnight stay tax
Ticket receipt:
You get that Guest Mobility Ticket directly upon arrival at the accommodation. It is provided either electronically as a wallet ticket on your smartphone, as a PDF or in paper form. Pre-check-in before arrival, the ticket can already be used for travel within Salzburg (outside Salzburg: additional ticket required.)
Children:
• Under 6 years: travel free, no ticket required
• From 6 years: receive their own ticket, for which no mobility fee is payable
• From 15 years: The fee is charged from the 15th birthday
Dogs:
• Dogs can travel on public transport free of charge with the Guest Mobility Ticket.
Cycles:
• Not included
• A separate bicycle ticket is required for train travel.
• On regional bus services, the driver decides on site whether it is possible to take a bicycle due to space constraints.
