The Laufener Hütte is located at an elevation of 1.726 meters in the Tennengebirge Mountains in Salzburger Land. Around the hut, you can observe alpine cattle, marmots, and chamois, and marvel at a diverse mountain flora. A slackline and three climbing gardens are also nearby.

The hut is used as family-friendly self-catering cabin (Category I). Drinks and soups are available at the hut. Small meals can also be prepared – dishes are provided in the hut.

The Laufener Hütte is manned from Pentecost until October 3rd.

It offers 45 beds in the mattress dormitory and 19 in shared dormitories. Reservations required!

The use of hut sleeping bags is mandatory!

Dogs are generally not allowed to stay overnight!
