Starting point: Voglau car park (near the Aubach bridge)
The hike begins at the parking lot in Voglau, right next to the Aubach Bridge. From here, a well-marked forest path leads toward the rushing Aubach Falls. After just a few minutes, you'll feel the spray in the air—a sure sign that you're approaching the waterfall.
Experience at the Aubachfall
A narrow path leads you to a viewing point where you can experience the roaring water up close. It's worth pausing here: listen to the roaring sound of the water, feel the refreshing moisture in the air, and enjoy the raw power of nature.
Continue to the Lammerklamm
After this impressive natural experience, continue your hike. Take the detour to the Aubach Falls and return to the road. From there, the path leads you toward the Lammerklamm, a spectacular rocky gorge. Here, the Lammer River has carved its way through the rock over millennia, creating a breathtaking gorge with steep walls and narrow passages.
A well-secured trail leads through this natural spectacle, past impressive whirlpools, pools, and narrow rocky passages. The roaring masses of water rushing through the narrow gorge create an unforgettable spectacle.
Return & Refreshment
After the impressive crossing of the Lammerklamm Gorge, you have two options for the return journey: You can either hike back to Voglau the same way or treat yourself to a well-deserved break at the cozy "Lammerklause" country inn. Here, you can fortify yourself with regional delicacies and reflect on the experiences of the tour in a relaxed atmosphere. Tip: There's a bus stop right in front of the inn. With your Tennengau+ Card, you can take the bus back to Voglau for free and end your hike in a relaxed manner.
