Did you know that the Jungbrunnen-BERG study by the Paracelsus Medical Private University in Salzburg has shown that a one-week vacation with spa bathing and mountain hiking improves working memory compared to a standard vacation and ensures greater physical vitality for six months?

The people in the Lammertal already knew about the healing effects of Abtenau's medicinal water over 100 years ago. But then the Abtenau bath was increasingly forgotten. As part of a large-scale study, the Abtenau health treasure is now being brought back to life. The results of this study show that the Sodium-Calcium-Chloride-Sulphate Mineral Spring acts like a real fountain of youth.

Based on the positive study results, Abtenau's healing water will be prepared for soothing baths and other treatments in the future. Guests in the Lammertal valley community can already do something good for their health: by hiking through the fascinating mountain scenery, participating in water sports, and relaxing in one of the experienced accommodation providers.
