The Salzburg Alpine Summer season opens in June at the Schnitzhofhütte on the Postalm. This marks the start of the high season for alpine huts, customs, and traditions.

The cows and horses are grazing on alpine pastures, such as the Postalm—Austria's largest alpine pasture area. The delicious alpine cheese is freshly prepared in the Tennengauer AlmKäse gourmet region. After a beautiful hike through the alpine pastures, you can look forward to a fragrant alpine snack. The Tennengauer gourmet region includes a total of 40 gourmet partners, all of which produce high-quality regional products.

Our hiking guides will be happy to accompany you on hikes and provide information about the town, the surrounding area, and its history.
