On June 10, the Salzburg Alpine Summer opens at the Schnitzhofhütte on the Postalm. This is when the peak season for alpine huts, customs, and traditions begins.
The cows and horses are grazing on alpine pastures, such as the Postalm—Austria's largest alpine pasture area. The delicious alpine cheese is freshly prepared in the Tennengauer AlmKäse gourmet region. After a beautiful hike through the alpine pastures, you can look forward to a fragrant alpine snack. The Tennengauer gourmet region includes a total of 40 gourmet partners, all of which produce high-quality regional products.
