Enjoy unique winter fun without a car in the Dachstein West ski region! This popular family ski area, with 160 km of skiing for everyone, is easily accessible via the free ski bus. In the evening, you can toboggan down the natural toboggan run or hike by lantern.

From Golling/Abtenau train station, you can take free public transport to Abtenau. The accommodation is either within walking distance or you can be picked up by the owner. Pure snow fun, snow-covered mountains, and a romantic atmosphere make winter in Abtenau an experience. Dachstein West ski region is located just a few kilometers from Abtenau and offers long runs and extensive piste fun. The ski pass is not only valid in the Dachstein West ski region, but also in Abtenau. A wonderful winter day can be rounded off with an active activity on the 3 km long natural toboggan run on the Karkogel.
