Cancellation conditions according to the Austrian hotel contract conditions
The accommodation contract can be terminated by both parties (guest and accommodation provider) by unilateral declaration without payment of a cancellation fee up to three months before the agreed date of arrival of the guest.
The accommodation contract can be terminated by either party by unilateral declaration up to one month before the agreed arrival date. However, a cancellation fee equal to the room rate for three days must be paid. This fee must also be paid by the accommodation provider if the cancellation is initiated by them.
A later cancellation will result in payment of the agreed fee, i.e., the full rent. The accommodation provider must deduct any savings resulting from non-use of the services offered or any gains from renting the rooms to other parties.
Please note that many landlords work with different cancellation conditions in their company!
