Dachstein - Krippenstein in the Salzkammergut

The Dachstein Krippenstein cable car takes you without a lot of muscle strength not only to the Schönbergalm, the Dachstein ice caves and the Mammut cave, but also to Obertraun's local mountain, the Krippenstein at 2.100 m.
Here you will not only find a great panoramic view but also many hiking opportunities that are suitable for everyone. For example, we recommend a hike to the spectacular “5fingers” viewing platform, 5 footbridges protrude over a 500 m abyss! A special thrill!
The third section takes you to the Gjaidalm station, a perfect starting point for further hikes on the Dachstein plateau!
